WANDERLUST TAKES YOU PLACES WHERE YOU MEET WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

It was mid noon and the sun god was slowing me down. Completely exhausted after crossing four mountains, reached a wonderful village on the mountain top. The village was made up of few dwellings. In that quite village I was welcomed by a very kindhearted lady. The wrinkles on her face not only revealed her age but also how her body was completely used doing hard work.

After a long chat about their lifestyle in the village I decided to leave. I offered medical help if there was anyone ill in the village which I usually do after going to remote places, as such places are deprived of good medical facility. The old lady smiled and said " unn laglai bala tula tham tuze ausad ante." (You are having heat stroke little one let me get you medicine) and she offered me a big glass of butter milk.

Yes she was right I was not feeling at ease and her natural medicine of butter milk really put life back into me. I was speechless took her blessings and left the village.

This incident made me Introspect. Our body is an amazing machine. It can take as much beating and stay healthy like that lady. It can heal itself in most of the cases, it don’t need chemicals for any correction. Simple living and living in sync with nature is the key for healthy living.

But the question remains how could she diagnose I was having a heat stroke?
May be the wrinkles on her face not only revealed her age and tough life but also her wisdom.

A GAME OF CHESS

Pure ka pura aakaash ghuma ker baazi dekhi maine

kaale ghar mei suraj rakh ke,
tumne shayad socha tha, mere sab mohre pit jyenge
maine ek chiraag jala kar, apna rasta khol liya

tumne ek samunder haath mei lekar, mujh per 'dhel' diya,
maine nooh ki kishti uske ooper rakh dee,

kaal chala tumne, aur meri jaanib dekha,
maine kaal ko tod ke lamha-lamha jeena seekh liya

meri khudi ko tumne chand chamatkaaron se maarna chaha
mere ek pyade ne tera chaand ka mohra maar liya.

maut ki sheh dekar tumne samjha tha ab tou maat hui
maine jism ka khol utaar ke saunp diya - aur rooh bacha li

Pure ka pura aakaash ghuma ker ab tum dekho baazi

I AM STILL HERE

She said to me, over the phone
She wanted to see other people
I thought, "well, then
Look around, they're everywhere"
Said that she was confused
I thought, "darlin', join the club"
24 years old, mid-life crisis
Nowadays hits you when you're young
I hung up, she called back, I hung up again
The process had already started
Least it happened quick
I swear I died inside that night
A friend, he'd called, I didn't mention a thing
The last thing he said was "be sound", sound
I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit
I just thought those would be such appropriate last words
But, I'm still here, and small
So small, how could this trouble seam so big
So big
Well the palms in the breeze still blow green
And the waves in the sea still absolute blue
But the horror
Every single thing I see is a reminder of her
Never thought I'd curse the day I met her
And since she's gone, and wouldn't hear
Who would care?
What good would that do?
But I'm still here
So I imagine in a month or 12
I'll be somewhere having a drink
Laughing at a stupid joke
Or just another stupid thing
And I can see myself stopping short
Drifting out of the present
Sucked by the under tow and pulled out deep
And there I am standing
Wet grass and white head stones, all in rows
And in the distance there's one off on it's own
So I stop, kneel
My new home
And I picture a sober awakening
A re-entry into this little bar scene
Sip my drink till the ice hits my lip
Order another round
And that's it for now
Sorry, never been too good at happy endings

ENERGY VAMPIRES

Have you ever had the experience of having the life sucked out of you by spending time with a particular person?

I’m talking about feeling exhausted, bored, irritated, stressed, anxious, threatened, overwhelmed or depressed after just a few moments in that person’s company.

There may have been times where you felt guilty for having negative thoughts about that person — which made you feel even worse. You may even have thought there was something wrong with you, such as feeling a headache coming on or stressing over a work deadline. Either way, you didn’t understand why you felt so out of sorts.

If that describes a familiar experience, chances are you have been in the company of an
energy vampire.

Some people, by their very presence, seem to drain the energy of those unprotected people around them.
All of us experiencing this at different levels, whether it be a relationship where you were so manipulated you started questioning your own sanity. Having to scribe and keep track of each moment because this person was convicting you the sky was actually purple or simply a friend or coworker not being happy for fortunate moments within your life. It is the feeling of being drained of your energy, your natural joy and life force by someone around you. You can feel them deliberately or unintentionally sapping and mutating their surroundings into negativity.

Our main mission here on this planet is to love one another. To join hands and head and build the higher vibration to shake away all that is lacking. This energy sapping feeling has to start somewhere in my opinion, originating from a general expectation for the other person (the energy vampire) to share this feeling, this mission of mutual elation. The current societal construct has been built on the opposite ideology telling us unconsciously on a daily basis since birth, that when we do not get the emotional energy we need (that should be from sharing) we must then go into dominating or competing with others. An unconscious competition for energy underlies all energy vampire conflicts. By dominating or manipulating others, they get the extra energy they think they need. It feels good to them but both parties are damaged in the conflict. The truth is always inherently looming though, that we never have to control, overpower or manipulate anyone or any situation because each person has a direct line to source energy, the most abundant and powerful source of energy there is.

So what are the different types of psychic vampires and how do you spot them?

Poor me’s make us feel guilty and responsible for them.
This is the person that if you have the flu they have had it way worse than you or even the one who constantly has the bad relationship, financial state, and some looming affliction to top it off. Isn’t it coincidental that the ones who have not been awakened to their line to source are also sick, broke and out of luck-love? Or is that a coincidence at all? These people I see the most frequently but are also the least harmful as most are doing it from a non-malicious and most of the time unconscious standpoint. Although I have experienced some who this is the tip of the iceberg to reel you in to the layers of manipulation tactics to have you as their constant victim and host. When you don’t show up for their pity party this will come full swing with their arsenal of guilt trips to try to sap energy and attention. Always try to keep in mind this poor me attitude simply stems from not receiving enough love from within.

The Aloof sap energy by showing indifference.
This person is the one who is the too cool for school guy or gal that will indirectly without saying anything make you question whether what you are doing should be celebrated at all. They wallow in their indifference just long enough to psychologically affect your processes to where the tables and attention is turned towards them instead of your original source of joy. This is the guy who is completely but quietly disgusted by the raise you just got or the amazing lesson you have learned in life and want to share. There is also a siphoning feeling from what you are doing to them because their main tactic is to stop the flow of energy as a control mechanism.

Interrogators drain energy by judging and questioning.
These people are the ones who are incessantly and persistently intent to be right at all cost. Therefore it could be something that is generally known and they counteract what you are saying by simply wording different or more precise. These are the ones who are constantly stepping on your heels to try to get one imaginary (non-existent) step ahead of you by cutting you down and proving you “wrong”. Their objective is control and ego boosting since this is coming from insecurity. Their tactic is to form a mental separation from the universal truth and to have you question your inner compass and knowing so that they can be in control over you, themselves and the surrounding situation.

Intimidators steal energy from others by threat or fear.
In my opinion this is the deepest embedding vampire and the most sophisticated. This person needs to get close enough to know your personal fears to use them against you. This is a very primal, reptilian brain tactic that if you are in fear then they hold the steering wheel to your decisions and life force energy. This tactic is not to be taken lightly and often follows with a bribing system. For example: If you don’t do this you will compromise your or other’s safety. You wouldn't want that would you? Very malicious. Very deliberate. Perhaps showing the mirror of what the true comfort to any situation would be instead of the fear. In my opinion, separation or ignoring is the best counter for this one.
Naturally the next question to ask would be:

How do I protect myself from energy vampires?

Three step system:

1. Try to uplift the vampire to a higher vibration.
All things either come from love or are a cry for love. If the person trying to sap energy from you is looking for love which is the feeling of connection to their own line to source then remind them of this. Whether it be through an act of kindness or simply offering words of empowerment to their situation. This technique works the best for the poor me type.

2. If they are resistant to the vibration rising, you can always protect yourself.
If you try to offer them love, they resist this process you can always go into protection mode. Most people see this as building a wall, shutting down or visualizing a bubble of white light surrounding you. While I think the visualization is handy because it brings you back to your own line of connection and remembrance that you are a powerful extension of source, this is just a band-aid over the splinter from my perspective. Since it is only a temporary fix to the situation, if you want to keep this person around. The situation gets sticky because we have expectations and they are understandable and universal expectations. This expectation is to share in the building and acceleration of the collective consciousness. We have made an agreement and it feels good to share good vibrations with other people to help raise humanity to ascension. Therefore when an energy vampire starts sapping your open energy instead of joining in to build the frequency, you give them open access becoming the victim. This is only because we lower our vibration in disappointment because of their reaction or action. We can stop this access by not being a victim of expectation; we simply expect the opposite for this person (to continue with the same energy draining behavior patterns). Recognizing that this is independent of our personal experience. You then can see that you have to be on the same frequency of an energy vampire to even become the host.
Another “tactic” would be a healing exercise I like to do when I am offended or feel let down by someone which is to ask myself what false belief I am holding to allow myself to feel let down to begin with.

3. Cut ties of communication or simply ignore them.
Lastly and I say this because I truly believe we are here as mirrors for one another to help heal one another through sharing but if this person is persistent enough to be causing you mental and even physical anguish then it is time to separate yourself whether you do that physically or mentally. Start focusing on the type of relationships you would like to surround yourself with and build your environment up with the frequencies you would like to be vibrating at, this is indirectly energy vampire repellent for two reasons. One is that energy vampires need a reaction or your negative attention to continue being vampiric and two they need to have you be in the frequency of being the victim. So in my opinion it is useless to try to justify yourself by teaming up with others “against” this person like a good guy-bad guy scenario because let’s be honest this is multidimensional. Everyone is neither all good nor all bad; we are just in different levels of healing and perception. If you start to focus on what you want and less of what they are doing, you will be surprised at what ease these people disappear. When you listen to your inner heart compass, your connection to source, you will be surprised at what “power” you have “over” them because the truth is there is no higher power than another. There is no control, only oneness. Just keep following your joy.

To sum this entire up, the dynamics to any vampiric situation are quite simple as you can see, they start trying to draw energy from you, and you start to feel the drama from their control tactic which temporarily leads you away from that sweet connection point to source. The more you partake in their lower vibration the more”power” you give them.

This is for the Energy Vampires

No one wants to admit it but the truth is we have ALL been energy vampires at one point or another because we have been programmed to gain energy through childhood traumas and societal programming rather than the abundant all oneness. The scale and frequency to which we perform energy vampirism is unique to each person but the first step to healing humanity it to remind ourselves and others that we are not only loved but a channel for the universal all knowing, all powerful interconnected source. We should dive deep and become aware of the subtle energies around us and try to understand where the false belief is within your subconscious to cause this to situation to arise, then once recognized replacing it with the truth. When we do this there is just not any time or space for anything other than soaking up those warm, yummy, joyful frequencies. Radiating and sharing these accelerating frequencies with everyone surrounding within this universal now moment.

So stop being an energy vampire and get your energies from the source itself...

HIRAN

Subah se shaam hui aur hiran mujh ko chhalaawe deta,
saare jungle mein pareshaan kiye ghoom raha hai abb tak

uski gardan ke bahoot paas se guzre hain kayi teer mere
woh bhi abb utna hi hoshiyaar hai jitna main hoon

ek jhalak de ke gum hota hai woh peddon mein
main wahan pahunchta hun toh teele pe,
kabhi chashme ke uss paar nazar aata hai.

woh nazar rakhta hai mujh par
mai usey aankh se ojhal hone nahi deta

kaun daudaaye hue hai kis ko
kaun abb kiska shikari hai pata nahin chalta

subah utra tha main jungle mein toh socha tha ki
uss shokh hiran ko
neze ki nok pe pancham ki tarah taan ke
main shehar mein daakhil hounga

din magar dhalne laga hai
dil mein ek khauf sa ab baith raha hai ke
bil aakhir ye hiran hi
mujhe seengon par uthaaye hue ek gaar mein daakhil hoga

"What a lovely story," the alchemist thought.

The Alchemist picked up a book that someone in the caravan had brought. Leafing through the pages, he found a story about Narcissus.

The alchemist knew the legend of Narcissus, a youth who daily knelt beside a lake to contemplate his own beauty.

He was so fascinated by himself  that, one morning, he fell into the lake and drowned. At the spot where he fell, a  flower was born, which was called the Narcissus.

But this was not how the author of the book ended the story.

He said that when Narcissus died, the Goddesses of the Forest appeared and found the lake, which had been freshwater, transformed into a  lake of salty tears.

"Why do you weep?" the Goddesses asked."

I weep for Narcissus," the lake replied."

Ah, it is no surprise that you weep for Narcissus," they said, "for though we always pursued him in the forest, you alone could contemplate his beauty close at hand."

"But.....  was Narcissus beautiful?" the lake asked.

"Who better than you to know that?" the Goddesses said in wonder, "After all, it was by your banks that he knelt each day to contemplate himself!!"

The lake was silent for some time.

Finally it said:"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful.

I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected."

"What  a  lovely story," the alchemist  thought.

I was fascinated by this story from the prologue in the book ALCHEMIST  written by  PAULO COELHO.

I  highly recommend this book.

A Friend to keep

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around.

You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more.

You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement.

They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself.

Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.

There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around.

You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.

The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.

Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again.

Colors seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn't exist at all.

A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face.

In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby.

Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you.

You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon.

You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible.

You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you.

You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end.

Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile.
Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

One love One heart

You may not be her first, her last, or her only.
She loved before she may love again.
But if she loves you now, what else matters?
She's not perfect - you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there.

The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.

You have your thought and I have mine.

Your thought is a tree rooted deep in the soil of tradition and whose branches grow in the power of continuity.
My thought is a cloud moving in the space.  It turns into drops which, as they fall, form a brook that sings its way into the sea.  Then it rises as vapor into the sky.
Your thought is a fortress that neither gale nor the lightning can shake.
My thought is a tender leaf that sways in every direction and finds pleasure in its swaying.
Your thought is an ancient dogma that cannot change you nor can you change it.
My thought is new, and it tests me and I test it morn and eve.

You have your thought and I have mine.

Your thought allows you to believe in the unequal contest of the strong against the weak, and in the tricking of the simple by the subtle ones.
My thought creates in me the desire to till the earth with my hoe, and harvest the crops with my sickle, and build my home with stones and mortar, and weave my raiment with woolen and linen threads.
Your thought urges you to marry wealth and notability.
Mine commends self-reliance.
Your thought advocates fame and show.
Mine counsels me and implores me to cast aside notoriety and treat it like a grain of sand cast upon the shore of eternity.
Your thought instils in your heart arrogance and superiority.
Mine plants within me love for peace and the desire for independence.
Your thought begets dreams of palaces with furniture of sandalwood studded with jewels, and beds made of twisted silk threads.
My thought speaks softly in my ears, “Be clean in body and spirit even if you have nowhere to lay your head.”
Your thought makes you aspire to titles and offices.
Mine exhorts me to humble service.

You have your thought and I have mine.

Your thought is social science, a religious and political dictionary.
Mine is simple axiom.
Your thought speaks of the beautiful woman, the ugly, the virtuous, the prostitute, the intelligent, and the stupid.
Mine sees in every woman a mother, a sister, or a daughter of every man.
The subjects of your thought are thieves, criminals, and assassins.
Mine declares that thieves are the creatures of monopoly, criminals are the offspring of tyrants, and assassins are akin to the slain.
Your thought describes laws, courts, judges, punishments.
Mine explains that when man makes a law, he either violates it or obeys it.  If there is a basic law, we are all one before it.  He who disdains the mean is himself mean.  He who vaunts his scorn of the sinful vaunts his disdain of all humanity.
Your thought concerns the skilled, the artist, the intellectual, the philosopher, the priest.
Mine speaks of the loving and the affectionate, the sincere, the honest, the forthright, the kindly, and the martyr.
Your thought advocates Judaism, Brahmanism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam.
In my thought there is only one universal religion, whose varied paths are but the fingers of the loving hand of the Supreme Being.
In your thought there are the rich, the poor, and the beggared.
My thought holds that there are no riches but life; that we are all beggars, and no benefactor exists save life herself.

You have your thought and I have mine.
According to your thought, the greatness of nations lies in their politics, their parties, their conferences, their alliances and treaties.
But mine proclaims that the importance of nations lies in work – work in the field, work in the vineyards, work with the loom, work in the tannery, work in the quarry, work in the timber yard, work in the office and in the press.
Your thought holds that the glory of the nations is in their heroes.  It sings the praises of Rameses, Alexander, Caesar, Hannibal, and Napoleon.
But mine claims that the real heroes are Confucius, Lao-Tse, Socrates, Plato, Abi Taleb, El Gazali, Jalal Ed-din-el Roumy, Copernicus, and Pasteur.
Your thought sees power in armies, cannons, battleships, submarines, aeroplanes, and poison gas.
But mine asserts that power lies in reason, resolution, and truth.  No matter how long the tyrant endures, he will be the loser at the end.
Your thought differentiates between pragmatist and idealist, between the part and the whole, between the mystic and materialist.
Mine realizes that life is one and its weights, measures and tables do not coincide with your weights, measures and tables.  He whom you suppose an idealist may be a practical man.

You have your thought and I have mine.

Your thought is interested in ruins and museums, mummies and petrified objects.
But mine hovers in the ever-renewed haze and clouds.
Your thought is enthroned on skulls.  Since you take pride in it, you glorify it too.
My thought wanders in the obscure and distant valleys.
Your thought trumpets while you dance.
Mine prefers the anguish of death to your music and dancing.
Your thought is the thought of gossip and false pleasure.
Mine is the thought of him who is lost in his own country, of the alien in his own nation, of the solitary among his kinfolk and friends.

You have your thought and I have mine.

HOW TO DROP THE FEAR

Go into your fear. Silently enter into it, so you can find its depth. And many a times it happens that it is not very deep.

Fear is non substantial as your shadow. But the shadow can have a great impact on you. On a lonely path when the night is approaching, you can be frightened of your own shadow and start running. Your running will be real, your escaping will be real, but the cause will be non substantial.

People are more afraid of fear than any thing else, because the very existence of fear shakes your foundations.

What is fear made of?

Fear is made of ignorance of one’s own self. There is only one fear; it manifests in many ways. There may be a thousand manifestations to it but basic fear is just one and that is “Deep inside, I may not be.” Fear is the shadow of “I.” Because the “I” is always alert somewhere deep down it will have to disappear in death… The basic fear is of death; all other fear only reflects the basic one.

Where does fear come from?

All our fears are by-product of identification. You love a person and with the love, in the same parcel, come fear that the person may leave you. They have already left somebody else and come with you, so there is a precedent; perhaps they will do the same to you. You get so attached to that person that you cannot grasp a simple fact: you have come alone in the world. You have been here yesterday too with out this person. And you were doing perfectly well. Tomorrow if this person goes what is the need to fear. You already know how to be with out the person, and you will be able to live alone again.

The fear that things may change tomorrow, some body may die, you may go bankrupt, and your job may be taken away. There are a thousand and one things that might change. You are burdened with fear and fear, and none of them are valid. Things may have changed but you are still alive. And believe me people have an immense capacity to adjust themselves to any situation. If you just look around the earth you will see man lives in thousands of different climates, geographical situations, political situations, sociological situation, religious situation, but he manage to live. And he has lived for centuries. Things go on changing but he goes on adjusting himself.

The fact remains though that every body is full of fear. Everybody has a kind of armor, and there are reasons for it. First the child is born so utterly helpless, into a world he knows nothing of. Naturally he is afraid of the unknown that faces him. He has not yet forgotten those nine months of absolute security, safety, when there was no problem, no responsibility, and no worries for tomorrow.

To us those are nine months, but to the child it is eternity. He knows nothing of the calendar, he knows nothing of time. He has lived an eternity in absolute safety and security, without any responsibility, and then suddenly he is thrown into a world unknown, where he is depended for everything on others. Everybody is bigger and more powerful. It is natural that he will feel afraid.

A child is weak, vulnerable, and insecure. Automatically he starts creating armor, a protection for himself in different ways. For example he has to sleep alone. It is dark and he is afraid, but he has his teddy bear and he convinces himself that he is not alone his friend is with him. You will see children dragging their teddy bear at airport, at railway stations. Do you think it is just a toy? To you it is, but to the child it is a friend. A friend when no body else is there to help him. In the darkness of the night alone in the bed, still the teddy bear is with him.

He will create psychological teddy bear. And remember that although a grown up man may think that he has no teddy bears, he is wrong. What is his god? Just a teddy bear. Out of his childhood fear, man has created a father figure who knows all, who is all powerful, who is present everywhere. If you have enough faith in him he will protect you. But the very idea of protection, the very idea that a protector is needed is childish. Then you learn prayers, these are just parts of your psychological armor. Prayers is to remind God that you are here, alone in the night.

Our prayers, chanting, mantras, our scriptures, our gods, our priests, are all part of psychological armor. It is very subtle. A Christian believes that he will be saved and nobody else. Now that is defensive arrangement; everybody is going to fall into hell except him, because he is Christian. But every religion believes, in the same way, that only they will be saved. It is not the question of the religion; it is a question of fear and being saved from fear. So it is natural in a way- but at certain point in your maturity, intelligence demands that it should be dropped. As a child it was good but as an adult you have to drop the teddy bear. Finally, the day you drop your armor, it means you have dropped living out of fear. Once the armor is dropped you can live out of love, you can live in a mature way. The fully mature person has no fear, no defense; he is psychologically open and vulnerable.

At a point, the armor may be necessity- perhaps it is. But as you grow-if you are not only growing old but also growing up, growing is maturity-then you will start seeing what you are carrying with you. Look closely and you will find fear behind so many things.

A mature person should disconnect himself from anything that is connected with fear. That’s how maturity comes.Just watch all your acts, all your beliefs, and find out whether they are based in reality, in experience, or based in fear. Anything based in fear has to be dropped immediately, without a second thought. It is your armor.

We go on living out of fear. That’s why we go on poisoning every other experience. We love somebody but when our love comes out of fear it is spoiled, poisoned. We seek truth, but if the search is out of fear then you are not going to find it. What ever you do, remember one thing: out of fear you are not going to grow. You will also shrink and die, fear is in the service of death.

A fearless person has everything that life wants to give to you as a gift. Now there is no barrier. You will be showered with gifts, and whatever you do you will have strength, a power, a certainty, a tremendous feeling of authority.

A person living out of fear is always trembling inside. He is continuously on the point of going insane, because life is big, and if you are continuously in fear… and fear of all kinds are available. You can make a big list, and you will be surprised how many fears are there- still you are alive! There are infections all around, diseases, dangers, kidnapping, terrorists… and such a small life! And finally there is death, which you cannot avoid. Your whole life will become dark.

Drop the fear- the fear was taken up by you in your childhood unconsciously; now consciously drop it and be mature. Then life can be a light that goes on deepening as you go on growing.
